Chris & Kate
Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at 5:52PM The lines, scars and wrinkles on our bodies are sometimes like a road map to the journey our life has taken us on. The lines around our eyes show how much we may have laughed, and the lines on our forehead as to how much we may have cried. A scar down our chest, a troubled heart. And the faded, silvery stretch marks on our tummies, a testament to the precious lives we have decided to bring into the world. (Unfortunately, a GPS does not arrive with this journey!) Don't always try to hide your scars and wrinkles. Wear them as reminders of past happinesses, joys & sometimes heartaches. Learn from them. And above all, drive like there's no turning back!
I quite often have gorgeous women asking me to "airbrush" or "photoshop" them. (And I do aim to please!) But many women are so critical of themselves, and I wish that wasn't the case. My cousins partner, Kate was one of these women. Not anymore! She wanted me to airbrush out all her pregnancy stretchmarks. I wanted her to see that they weren't that bad & for a mother of 2.5, she looked hot! After seeing her photos, she agreed! Thank goodness!
Chris & Kate, Lachlan & Eliza (yes Elly! I love your real name!) Thanks for letting me share your images. All the best with baby Charlotte, she's about to turn your road map upsidedown!!
