Darren & Angelique
Thursday, January 21, 2010 at 7:56AM Christmas, New York, 2007. Horses slowly pull a carriage through a wintery Central Park. A fine romance requires a fairytale proposal. And much to Angelique's surprise, it was here in beautiful Central Park that Darren decided to ask her to be his wife.
Darren and Angelique met in 2003 on the Gold Coast and initially really didn't think much of each other! But that all changed on their second meeting. They found they had a lot in common. Both are performing arts teachers, both parents are Irish, and more extraordinary, Darrens dad Brian grew up only a few streets from Angeliques mum Sharyn in Belfast!
Coincidentally, Angelique had chosen a stunning Maggie Sottero gown named Ireland and also chose unique flowers for her bouquet, Irish Bells.
Angelique enlisted the wonderfully talented Amber Demas look after all the girls hair & makeup.
Darren & Angelique chose the Sheraton exclusively for their wedding, which was wonderful as I could scoot between rooms and include Darren & the boys prep for the ceremony as well as the girls. I love that!
In the few weeks leading up to Darren & Angeliques wedding, parts of Australia had been hit with an amazing red dust storm from central Australia, hence the stunning natural pink sunset for their wedding day.

Great story and great shots... again
We are SO SO SO happy with our photos! I think I looked at them about 4 times over the weekend and Mum Ahh'd and Ohh'd over every one as you can imagine! Thanks so much Amy. It was lovely reading your blog and looking at the photos again x
