Franklin & Kelly

"Quick!" Kelly tells her bridesmaids, "Someone go and tell Franklin to get into his suit! Let's have the ceremony early!" Kelly is worried about the stormy clouds looming, but she needn't be. The guests are arriving, everything is on time and the clouds will blow away. 

Franklin is from Columbia. Kelly is from Australia. They live in DC, but chose her parents stunning Ruffles Lodge for the scene of their wedding. I first met Kelly's parents, the wonderful Jan & John, when I shot my first wedding at Ruffles a few years back. Nothing is too much trouble for them, and their personalities add to the relaxed atmosphere.

   

Gorgeous Kelly was doted on by Bridesmaids Emma, Lucine, Cole & Cat. Lucine also doubled as Franklins Groomswoman, interpreting for him during the ceremony.

   

 Franklin is quite shy but loves to dance! So they decided to all dance down to the ceremony! It was awesome, and a lot of fun & definitely got things warmed up. I love it!

 

Franklin & Kelly wanted the 'Australian Bush' look to their photos, and Ruffles definitely accomodates that, plus stunning views overlooking the Coast. There's really no need to go elsewhere.
