Don't forget everyone!! Brides, grooms, Maids of Honor, Best Men...the Wedding Links Expo is on tomorrow, Sunday 5th June 2011. One day only! It's being held at The Gold Coast Arts Centre, Bundall, Queensland. If you're in the area, come in & say hi! There's approx. 70 exhibitors- photographers, celebrants, florists, dress makers, reception centres, and loads more! My wonderful assistant Natalia will be with me also. We have a few deals on offer for Wedding Expo bookings including an extra free canvas with each package. Hope to see you there!

Editing...

I really love editing. From the time I shoot the actual picture, I have an idea in my head about exactly what it will look like after I've given it a little 'tweak' in Photoshop. Ps is great to learn, even if your just wanting to learn the basics; removing a colour cast from old photographs, getting rid of unwanted blemishes, etc- The other day though, I gave little Tate an arm :D I had a photograph I really loved for the expressions on the kids faces, but one of the boys had thrown his arm behind his back as he was running and looked like an amputee...Hmm what to do? I found a very similar picture (with his arm included) resized it to suit the armless one & using the clone stamp, copied his arm across. I make sure I zoom in close to fix little bits, like the grass round his hand, remember to change the opacity to suit. And voila! Tate has an arm :D

Mat, Andrea & their 3 very good-looking children recently moved to the Goldy from Melbourne. It was time for a change, and time for new photos! After dodging a few rainy weekends, we met down at Currumbin Rock for their shoot. The kids were excited, and so was I= a fun afternoon! Ending in Holly going for a swim fully clothed! I guess she thought I was finished...such cutie petuties! :D xx

I first met Jay & Renee when they were expecting little Ella to join their family. So, I was happy to get a call back to shoot their 2nd Belly & Baby package recently, with little baby Cooper on the way. Ella has grown so much, it was great to catch up! Cooper is such an adorable little man with doting parents & a loving sister :D All the best to you guys xx

My sweet little friend Amanda got married a few weeks back to the handsome Andy Shone. I just had to go a have a little squizz and take a few snaps. Manda's dress was just amazing, and her three cute bridesmaids were in a gorgeous floral. Congratulations to you both xx :D

Manda's dad Richard. It's funny, Mark (my hubby) bought his first ever car off Richard when he was about 16. It was a ZJ Fairlane. Mark's pride and joy. He had it painted cherry red, mags, lowered, sway bars, the works...and I wrote it off.

You might remember this gorgeous couple from when I shot their wedding in Michigan a while back. Cherie has left her home town in the States & settled in Australia with the love of her life. I joined them in Rocky for their 'Aussie' wedding which we shot at the sweet Japanese Gardens in Rockhampton. The afternoon light was divine!
