Welcome to my blog where you can check out my latest work & feel free to leave me some love! I'm based on the Gold Coast, Australia and have traveled nationally & internationally for shoots. I love it! I love using natural lighting to capture people, their personalities, a moment in time. At the present, I'm focusing on Engagement Shoots, Weddings & Boudoir photography. If you're interested in having me photograph your special day, celebrate your engagement or get all sexy for a Boudoir shoot, pls phone or email me. Details are on my website. Regards, Amy :)

Monday, September 13, 2010 at 7:44PM Summer arrived within the first year of Ben & Kristee's marriage. She was a Summer Surprise! You might remember Ben & Kristee's wedding photos from my website. Theirs was the first of many weddings I photographed in beautiful Murwillumbah. With green rolling hills & tumble-down shacks, it's a country bumpkins paradise! Well this shoot was well & truly overdue. Summer is growing so quickly, doted on by her parents & wonderful great grandparents, Ma & Da. We ducked in and out of the rain for photos, threw flowers in the air & blew bubbles around the garden. Thanks for the fun afternoon ;D

Just look at those beautiful kissy lips! Mwah! xx

ooo Bubbles! ooo

Sunday, August 15, 2010 at 12:24PM My funny five year old has just entered her first photography competition. Her school held the competition, Australia, and it was open to all grades, prep to grade 7. So armed with my (backup!) camera we set off down the beach one afternoon. She's always had an interest in photography, so I've been teaching her bits and pieces since she was about 2.
By the way, she came third and had heaps of fun!! Yay Lilou!

And here's a shot I took of her afterwards...

Monday, May 10, 2010 at 11:24AM Sometimes photographing a fellow photographer can be a daunting task...but Diana & I have known each other for years now & worked together often. And we belong to the same mutual admiration club! So when it was time for some new family portraits, I more than happily obliged. I really wanted to capture their personalities, so I thought about what they all like doing. Playing guitar, singing, spending time together, laughing. Easy. Let's do it!

Cheeky Charlie! Isn't she beautiful!??

Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at 12:24PM Well, I'm well and truly back from the States. Back to work, plenty of it too. Keep an eye out for future posts of my adventures in LA, MI, NY & Canada. I had an awesome time! I truly loved the snow! I miss it, especially now that I'm back sweltering on the sunny Gold Coast. I really shouldn't complain, should I!?
I headed a little south the other day for a family portrait shoot at Tweed. A gorgeous family with two energetic boys, Riley (a big Casey Stoner fan!) and sweet Jayden. They are actually Sunny's older cousins. We had fun, of course, but I think the boys were wanting to get out & about, so I suggested we drive just down the road to a beautiful old tree not far from their house. Sometimes it's just fun to pick up sticks and toss some leaves in the air.

PS. Note to dads- save the black jellybeans til after the photo shoot! hee hee! :p (sorry Danny!)
