Editing...

From the time I shoot the actual picture, I have an idea in my head about exactly what it will look like after I've given it a little 'tweak' in Photoshop. Ps is great to learn, even if your just wanting to learn the basics; removing a colour cast from old photographs, getting rid of unwanted blemishes, etc- The other day though, I gave little Tate an arm :D I had a photograph I really loved for the expressions on the kids faces, but one of the boys had thrown his arm behind his back as he was running and looked like an amputee...Hmm what to do? I found a very similar picture (with his arm included) resized it to suit the armless one & using the clone stamp, copied his arm across. I make sure I zoom in close to fix little bits, like the grass round his hand, remember to change the opacity to suit. And voila! Tate has an arm :D
